  • I think it's fun cuz he apparently got intensely uncomfortable and angry while watching it. So reminding him of it just riles him up. It's fun to push his buttons!! haha...

  • It doesn't get me riled up. And it wasn't a good love story. Think about it. It's a typical love story where two people are in love and can't get together. But here's the catch. One of the guys is so horny, he goes to Mexico to get it on with some male homo jigalows. And the other guy gets so horny he's a violent rage-aholic. This is a love story? Did Romeo go hire a bunch of whores? Did Richard Gere? Okay bad example.

Add to that the fact that two families are destroyed... Where is the beauty in this? Even as a story about discrimination I find it lacking. I can't believe the acclaim this movie is getting. I guess people are just fascinated by homosexuality.

  • Well, I guess it's not a typical love story after all. It's more a tragic one where people get hurt.

But I still contend it does rile you up, because everytime it's mentioned, you go at length to voice your displeasure. Does your dad know you went to see it?

  • HAHAHA! Yeah, my dad knows I saw it. But me voicing my displeasure at things is not unique to brokeback mountain. Do I not bash American Beauty and Revenge of the Sith every chance I get?
